Hi Read-A-Rific

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your wonderful reading program. It has been incredibly helpful to my daughter. Not only has it improved her ability to visualize while reading, but it has also given her a real boost in confidence.
She now enjoys reading so much that she often picks up chapter books on her own—a huge change from before. We’re both excited about the release of the 5th/6th grade level, as she is eager to continue with the program.

Thank you again for offering a resource that delivers real results without taking years to complete. We truly appreciate the care and thought you’ve put into making reading enjoyable and effective.

Update: My daughter returned to school the second week in September. During our parent/teacher conference. Her teacher was blown away by the progress made in reading and comprehension. She said “ keep doing what you’re doing”.

This program has helped my son in ways I can’t even explain. He is in the 10th grade, but was only reading at a kindergarten level. He is autistic and has dyslexia and has been able to overcome everything except reading. We have tried every curriculum out there, reading coach, tutors, and I’ve worked with him over an hour a day since he was in kindergarten. Nothing stuck and we just kept having to go back to the beginning. He is now on lesson 57 of the 66 lessons and he is now reading at a third grade level! We came across Janell and her amazing read-a-rific program about a year ago! Approximately one month ago, my son began the online Readarific program. Due to our busy schedule, we have only been able to participate for about two and a half weeks since starting the program for the first time in fourth grade. Shortly after beginning, my son passed his math test with a 92%. His teacher even reached out to ask what we had done differently.

When my son was six years old, we invested over $12,000 in Brain Balance, but unfortunately, we did not see any results. This was followed by years of tutoring—sometimes multiple sessions per week—and his school also placed him in a special program for dyslexia. Despite all these efforts, we never noticed a significant difference until we started the Readarrific program.

Since starting, my son has been able to follow directions more easily, and I have seen a noticeable improvement in his confidence. As a physician assistant and a mom, I am beyond grateful for this program and excited to continue now that our schedule has settled down.

I purchased Read-A-Rific Reading Comprehension – The Smart and Easy Way in summer 2024 for my 9-year-old son. Before starting, he mostly read picture books and wasn’t interested in chapter books. We completed 48 out of 66 lessons before pausing for the school year, and the results were surprisingly impressive!

After completing just 48 lessons, he began reading chapter books on his own—he’s now on his 17th chapter book! His ELA and writing grades have improved as well. Most importantly, he genuinely enjoys the program. My 20-year-old son graduated from high school reading at the beginning first grade level. He received special education services for many years and they did not help him learn to read well. We were worried for his future. My son received services to help him sound out words and learn to read better this last year.

When the Readarific reading comprehension program was developed, my son consistently used it to help him understand and remember what he was reading. The Read-A-Rific visualization program has been an amazing experience for us. Our son is in 2nd grade and has been struggling with focus, memory, and comprehension in the classroom. Our family is bilingual, and my daughter was only partially meeting grade-level expectations in reading comprehension. She also wasn't interested in reading chapter books and preferred to stick with comic-style books.

Before finding Read-A-rific, I tried another reading comprehension program that had students read an article and answer comprehension questions. While it identified which questions my daughter got wrong, it didn't help her understand why she got them wrong. She would quickly become frustrated and lose patience reviewing the answers. I felt like we were treating the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of her comprehension difficulties.

Read-A-rific was different. The visualization approach helped her build the underlying skills needed for reading comprehension instead of simply practicing test questions. As we worked through the program, I could see her becoming more confident and engaged.
After completing about 30 sessions, her next school reading assessment showed that she had improved from partially meeting grade-level expectations to fully meeting grade level. Even more exciting, she began choosing to read early chapter books on her own—something she had previously avoided.

Every child is different, but Read-A-rific made a meaningful difference for my daughter. My 15-year-old grandson, Aiden, has a learning disability due to autism. Our 4th grade son was struggling with school.  When we started the Read-A-Rific program he was below grade level by a couple years in reading and comprehension and after the program he went to mid 4th grade level.  His ELA test score jumped up 39 points after 5 weeks of the program. He hated reading before he started Read-a-rific , and after finishing he found a book that he enjoyed reading which has never happened before! My son just turned 17 years old, and has struggled academically since early elementary school. He did not enjoy reading or 
writing because he was not picturing. He only saw words that ultimately made no sense because he didn't retain any of what 
he was reading. 

Since starting this program one month ago, he actually gets excited about remembering and picturing what he is reading. His face lights up as he realizes he is retaining the information he just read. It's something I have never seen him do until now. He is actually becoming more interested in reading, and is enjoying the book he is currently reading in his English class. Prior to this program, he would not even open a book or engage in reading. Because of this program, he is also remembering how to spell words he was not able to before. The sense of accomplishment and confidence he feels by using this program is absolutely priceless!

Kannon is doing great and enjoying the Read-A-Rific program. He is only 5 weeks in and we have noticed improved growth academically, as well as a positive shift in his attitude towards schoolwork.
