Approximately one month ago, my son began the online Readarific program. Due to our busy schedule, we have only been able to participate for about two and a half weeks since starting the program for the first time in fourth grade. Shortly after beginning, my son passed his math test with a 92%. His teacher even reached out to ask what we had done differently.

When my son was six years old, we invested over $12,000 in Brain Balance, but unfortunately, we did not see any results. Read-A-Rific helped my 9 year old go from strongly disliking Reading to actually enjoying it. While doing the program she enjoyed the daily encouragement from Janel. I purchased Read-A-Rific Reading Comprehension – The Smart and Easy Way in summer 2024 for my 9-year-old son. Before starting, he mostly read picture books and wasn’t interested in chapter books. We completed 48 out of 66 lessons before pausing for the school year, and the results were surprisingly impressive!

After completing just 48 lessons, he began reading chapter books on his own—he’s now on his 17th chapter book! His ELA and writing grades have improved as well. My 20-year-old son graduated from high school reading at the beginning first grade level. He received special education services for many years and they did not help him learn to read well. We were worried for his future. My son received services to help him sound out words and learn to read better this last year.

When the Readarific reading comprehension program was developed, my son consistently used it to help him understand and remember what he was reading. The Read-A-Rific visualization program has been an amazing experience for us. Our son is in 2nd grade and has been struggling with focus, memory, and comprehension in the classroom. We are now on week 8 of the online course and he is showing major improvements! We do the program in the morning before school and it sets him up for the day.. He's more focused, his memory of topics in the classroom have improved dramatically, and he has become more positive about completing homework and reading at home. Readarific has been a great program for both of our children, especially our daughter who has visual processing challenges. It has helped in so many ways. The kids seem better able to focus and follow instructions. My daughter had been getting every single word wrong on her spelling test, but after only a few weeks of this program got five words right on a test. I asked her how she got the words right, and she told me she pictured them! It is a very simple program to use, and my kids love it!

Readarific is worth its weight in gold. This is foundational, not just for kids! What a wonderful feeling to actually remember what I read. This program is truly incredible! My daughter is in 8th grade and has struggled with comprehension. After starting this program she was tested twice within a one month time span at school.
